Ghee, Overnight Soaked Kidney Beans, Overnight Soaked Whole Black Gram, Overnight Soaked Channa Dal,Garlic Juice, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Salt, White Butter,Ginger and Garlic Paste, Garlic Cloves, Green chilli, Salt, Oil, Cumin seeds,Black Pepper, Fenugreek Leaves,Fresh Cream, Coriander Leaves, Asafoetida

Method

  • In Pressure cooker, add Ghee, once it’s hot, add Kidney beans, whole black gram, Channa dal, water as required, Garlic Juice, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander powder, salt and white butter, mix well and on medium flame take 4 to 5 whistles.
  • In a Grinder jar, add garlic cloves, Ginger, Green chilli, salt and little water, grind it into smooth paste.
  • In a pan, add cumin seeds, black pepper whole, salt, dry fenugreek leaves, roast it for 2-4 minutes and once it cools down grind it into fine powder.
  • In a bottom pan, add ghee, once its hot add Asafoetida, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder and saute it.
  • Then add tomato puree, salt and saute it in medium flame.
  • Now add boiled dals, and cover it and cook for 5 minutes (stir in between)
  • Now add Masala prepared, white butter and mix well, cook for 2 minutes
  • Now turn off the flame and garnish it with white butter and coriander leaves.
